What do we mean by store management system?

The com.TRADENET store management system is the software platform for ALL of your needs in the context of operating stores, with the exception of goods and staff matters.

What are the traditional application areas of com.TRADENET?

The software is suitable for all companies and organizations with a network of stores and offices. Industries include:

  • Retail (textiles, drugstores, office supplies,...)
  • Department stores (discount stores, grocery stores, specialist markets)
  • Service providers (banks, insurance companies, recruitment agencies, further education providers)
  • Industry (tradesperson’s equipment, tools, vehicles)
How many stores do I need for the system to be worthwhile?

As soon as it becomes difficult to manage the sum of all activities with tools such as Excel, you should seriously consider using com.TRADENET. If you’re (still) getting by with these tools, but want to expand, you could opt for instruments that increase efficiency.

Do I need plans and layouts to introduce the system?

No. com.TRADENET can be used without any CAD plans. It was intentionally designed this way to keep the setup efforts and costs to a minimum. If graphic CAD plans are desired for some or all stores, this can be done at any time.

Does the system control my appointments and reminders?

Yes, you’ll automatically be informed about all appointments. In addition, customizable escalation mechanisms ensure you keep your appointments, e.g., in the event of absence.

What are the advantages of directly integrating documentation?

This gives you the option of immediately processing associated commercial documents in parallel while working through procedures. This makes it considerably easier to process tasks. In addition, the commercial data are a basic requirement for automatic calculations, e.g., when planning new stores or extrapolating rent loads.

How can document management systems be connected?

With integrated document management, you can either store documents in your own database or in document management systems via an interface. You can also search for archived documents in the document management system and allocate them to the specialist procedures. Interfaces are offered for various systems.

Is the system also suitable for traditional tenant questions?

In addition to the traditional tenant’s view, the software also supports questions from the landlord’s perspective. The ancillary cost billing module enables the consumption-dependent allocation of operative and ancillary costs in accordance with the stipulations of the operational cost regulation (Betriebskostenverordnung, BetrKV).

How do you support automated postings (e.g., rental run)?

The software’s potential particularly targets the interface between the department and accounting. The automated creation of monthly rental runs and transferring these posting records to financial accounting is a standard feature. Of course, audit-proof approvals are also ensured for the software.

Is a connection to financial accounting systems possible?

The system offers import and export interfaces to different financial accounting solutions. Examples include SAP, Oracle PeopleSoft, Microsoft Axapta, Sage KHK, etc.
