Torsten Hecht is Entrepreneur of the Year.

The entire Com In team would like to congratulate Torsten on this honor.
At age 27, Torsten Hecht founded the computer system company „Com In“. Initially, he built and sold computers on his own. That was 30 years ago – and the Schwerin native has continually expanded his business. Today, he develops his own software for state forests and agricultural cooperatives, a store management system, and a program for managing forest areas. For all his work, Torsten Hecht was awarded the title of Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 on March 7, 2020.
“Contributing to the development of an attractive environment as well as shaping and enriching the lives of those who live there is a matter of course for him,” says Rolf Paukstat, President of the Unternehmerverband Norddeutschland Mecklenburg-Schwerin, the area’s trade association. Together with the association’s CEO Pamela Buggenhagen and Finance Minister Reinhard Meyer, he bestowed this honor on the entrepreneur at this year’s “Wirtschaftsball” (economy ball) at Basthorst Castle.
Ever since 1993, the Unternehmerverband Norddeutschland Mecklenburg-Schwerin e.V. has recognized outstanding entrepreneurial achievements on an annual basis with the “Entrepreneur of the Year” competition.
