How did you learn about Com In?

My roots lie in financial accounting, and I spent many years working for large trade companies. But although numbers have always been – and will always be – my thing, over time I started to crave change and a new professional challenge.

Since I was very familiar with the Com In real estate management software as a financial accountant and fully believed in the system itself, I immediately jumped at the opportunity when I heard of an open position as a consultant at Com In. It was a perfect match all-round. That must have been fate!

What challenges/tasks does your job entail?

As a consultant at Com In, you’re never bored. The range of applications for the software in the area of corporate real estate management are far too wide-ranging – from expansion and construction through to real estate (contract management), technology, and questions revolving around energy and sales. But this also applies to the customers themselves, who are very individual in terms of their processes and expectations and vary depending on their industry and organizational structures, etc. This means you don’t have any blueprints, and things never just stagnate. The customer with their individual requirements stands at the center of the implementation. That’s why you need to have a certain level of flexibility and remain open to new ideas, areas of use, or solution approaches.

What do you like about your job and Com In?

It’s all about US! Even though the size of the team is steadily growing, the company makes sure that the familial solidary remains.

Whenever I need support regarding specialist topics ... everyone is happy to share their experiences and ideas with me. That’s not a given, since colleagues can sometimes be very involved in their own projects. We can always count on one another... and I think that’s the secret behind Com In.

Personally, I very much enjoy facing new challenges again and again, because no two customers or areas of application are the same. This combination of customer consulting, technical implementation, and internal as well as external brainstorming is what I like best about my job. Not only can I work on my own development at Com In, but I also benefit from flexible working conditions which allow me to my job with my family life pretty well.

What do you do in your free time?

After I finish work, my life isn’t particularly exciting. During the week, normal family life keeps me busy, interspersed with household chores and homework. On the weekends, however, I fully indulge in my “love for construction sites in and around the house,” for example by refurbishing, renovating, and rearranging. If the weather plays along (and the sheep along the dike near us haven’t been blown over), I enjoy long bicycle tours with my husband and child along the Kiel Canal. But if it’s cold and windy, I occasionally also like to submit to my personal “passion for binging” (one season per evening – absurd ;-)
