In preparation for the use of Reporting Services, Com In GmbH & Co.KG Consulting + Solutions is offering a course for application administrators and technical administrators.

Reporting Services is a server-based reporting platform that provides an extensive reporting functionality for a large number of data sources. Reporting Services comprises a complete tool kit with which you can create, manage and provide reports. The Reporting Services tools work within the Microsoft Visual Studio environment and are fully integrated into SQL server tools and components.

With Reporting Services, you can create interactive, tabular, graphic, or freeform reports from relational, multidimensional, or XML-based data sources. Reports can contain extensive data visualization, including diagrams, maps, and sparklines.

You can publish reports, schedule report processing, or access reports in a requirement-based way. In addition, you have the option of choosing from a large number of display formats, exporting reports to other applications such as Microsoft Excel, and subscribing to published reports. The reports you’ve created can be displayed via a web-based connection, via com.TRADENET/com.LIVIS, or via a SharePoint website.

In this course, we’ll discuss the setup and integration of Reporting Services into com.TRADENET/com.LIVIS and then explain their functionality for creating and processing com.TRADENET/com.LIVIS reports.
